Flexible assessment & feedback options

Assessments take place at the learners pace with breaks between assessments where necessary.

A full written report will follow all full assessments whether a diagnosis is given or not. Either way, the same thorough process and thought will be followed for both outcomes.

A more detailed personal feedback can be added on to understand the report and recommendations and allow questions to be raised.

What other clients say...

"I decided to contact HWDS after my 7 year old son had been falling behind in his reading and maths at school. After speaking with his teacher it was apparent there could be dyslexia or possibly ADHD.

I spoke with Hannah regarding getting my son tested and she was very knowledgeable, and I instantly trusted her to do the assessment.

We arranged for it to be over 2 short ish sessions to allow my son the best possible conditions for his assessment.

Hannah always replied very quickly to my emails and questions, and it was arranged easily and suited me and my son.

During the assessment my son felt very comfortable in the setting and didn't need me or his father to be there. When I picked him up he didn't want to leave! He had really enjoyed his time with Hannah and at no point had he felt stressed or worried.

Hannah also picked up on the fact that my son could possibly have ADHD and guided me in what steps would need to be taken if I wanted to get him referred to the doctor.

The report was massively in depth but easy to read and understand and it was picked up that he was in fact dyslexic.

Hannah was amazing throughout this process and I would highly recommend her. She was great with my son and made what could be a stressful situation very fun and easy for him. Thank you HWDS."

"We are so grateful that it was you that supported Sophie through her assessment Han, and we can’t thank you enough for making time for us so quickly. Sophie really struggles to focus, even for short periods of time, and you knew exactly how to make her feel comfortable and even enjoy the assessment.

You are always so professional and positive and you really helped us to understand Sophie’s strengths, needs and next steps. Your report was excellent and your advice meant we could support her immediately. You made us feel like we can really make a difference to her learning with your specific and detailed suggestions. Thank you for suggesting so many useful books and resources to support our understanding of dyslexia - it helped me understand and appreciate how much harder Sophie has to work. We feel like a weight has been lifted and we can now see a way forward. You are fantastic!"
